Alexis Ortiz, BSN, RN

Alexis is a registered nurse with 2.5 years of experience on intermediate and medical ICU units, but found love for integrative medicine once she experienced her body, mind, and spiritual transformation overcoming depression and anxiety. At the Integrative Psychiatric Clinic, she experiences fulfillment and joy in providing clients with a safe space for incredible growth, serving as the nurse and administrator.

Alexis has a true passion for holistic nursing care, expanding patients knowledge on mindfulness meditation, breath work, aromatherapy, herbal remedies, nutrition, yoga, and Reiki. Alexis is Reiki I and II attuned and certified, practicing to become a Reiki Master Practitioner. She is wholeheartedly enjoying the journey of being a conduit for Reiki energy to relieve stress and pain, promote inner peace and balance chakra for her clients. In addition, Alexis is also in the process of earning a Clinical Herbalism Certification at The Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism. She sees the benefits and cathartic nature of integrative therapy, excited to be a part of this empowering collaboration at IPC.
